The most rides Daniel can go on is 14. This is because he starts off with 25 and has to spend 4 of it to get in. That leaves him with 21. Then each ride costs 1.50 so take 21 and divide by 1.50 and you get 14.

$25 - $4
= $21 for rides

21/1.5
= 14

He can go on 14 rides max.

▹ Answer

y = 15, -15

▹ Step-by-Step Explanation

This is considered a 'square root' since we have to find y^2.

15 * 15 = 225

-15 * -15 = 225

Both of these values work for y, so the answer is 15, -15.

Hope this helps!

3×-y=5,2×+y=5 pleaseplease
Tanya [424]

Answer:

x = 2

y = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

3x - y = 5..............(1)× 1

2x + y = 5...….......(2)× 1

3x - y = 5..............(3)

2x + y = 5.............(4)

Cancel y

3x + 2x = 5 + 5

5x = 10

Divide both sides by 5

x = 2

Substitute for the value of y

3x - y = 5

3(2) - y = 5

6 - y = 5

6 - 5 = y

1 = y

y = 1
