Answer:

Explanation:

Unlike fungi, which belong to the plant kingdom of taxonomy, algae fall under kingdom Protista.

Algae are primary producers, which means they  produce their own food through photosynthesis.

Algae reproduce only asexually.

Since they have no roots, stems, or leaves, algae cannot survive alone out of water.

Fungi feed on other organisms, sometimes alive.

Fungi reproduce both sexually and asexually.

How does atp transfer energy from exergonic to endergonic reactions in the cell?
klasskru [66]

Adenosine triphosphate(ATP) transfer energy by doing phosphorylation. ATP has three phosphate molecule and it will release one phosphate when releasing energy(exergonic reaction), become ADP + P. ADP could be reused by catching energy(endergonic reaction), makes them catch a phosphate molecule and reform into ATP.

2. Which of the following may affect a passenger's safety during a collision? Select all
devlian [24]

Answer: All of them seem to apply.

Explanation:

A., Its important to know if your car that is being collided is a small car or big truck, as they will end up effecting who gets hurt the most.

B., Same thing as A. but with the other vehicle.

C., The velocity matters a lot with a collision, since a slow crash won't have as much damage as a car going fast and hitting someone. Also it won't be as likely to be fatal if the car crashing into you is going slow.

D., This is the only one I'm not too sure on, but it seems like how fast the car can accelerate once collided with would be a big factor on whether it would come to a halt or skid across the road.

The correct answer is "ototoxicity or nephrotoxicity". Gentamicin is an antibiotic from the class of aminoglycosides. All aminoglycosides have been known to cause both ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity in patients. Other ototoxic drugs or nephrotoxic drugs (i.e. furosemide and indomethacin respectively) shall be given with caution.
