There is supposed to be answer choices for this particular question. The clash that the American rebels succeeded in conquering the British troops was the Battle of Lexington. The Minutemen at Lexington ambushed the British troops and prevented them from proceeding to Concord to confiscate the patriots' supplies. If the choices were here, the correct answer would be B.
