First you need to put this into a fraction. 15/60. Now you need to simplify it. 15/5 and 60/5 equals 3/12. Now simplify again to get 1/4. She has hit 1/4 of the balls hit

An average is a list of numbers added together and divided by the number of numbers. for example, the average of 4,10, 5, & 27 would be 4+10+5+27=46, and then 46÷4=11.5 so the average of 4,10,5, & 27 is 11.5. So the average of Courtney's batting would be number of hits + the number of bats ÷ 2. So, 15+60=75 & 75÷2=37.5. So Courtney's batting average is 37.5
hope this helped. :)

In a class of students, the following data table summarizes
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

you have t as a total amount of the whole class.

f= did not pass and you place the total number next to it like this;  f/t represents that group. You continue this in your workings.

f/t = probability failed.

p/t = probability passed

c/t = probability completed

dc/t = probability did not complete

and draw a tree.

The random would be either of these, we know there s a possibility of 1/4 but the odds stay central. We look for a new way after this data is converted as a  fraction and show these fractions as your answer.

A sample of n = 4 scores has SS = 48. What is the estimated standard error for this sample? Group of answer choices
mylen [45]

Answer:

2

Step-by-step explanation:

We have

n = 4 scores

SS = 48

For this question, we are required to find the estimated standard error

To get this, we first solve for the variance

S² = SS/n-1

= 48/4-1

= 48/3

= 16

Then S² = 16

S = √16

S = 4

Then the estimated standard error is given by:

S/√n

= 4/√4

= 4/2

= 2.

The estimated standard error is 2.

The length of a rectangle is 4 less than 2 times the width. The perimeter is 40 units.
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Let l be length and w be width.

First equation:

l = 2w-4

Second equation:

perimeter = 40 units

Perimeter of a rectangle: 2(l+w)

2(2w-4+w)=40

2(3w-4)=40

6w-8=40

6w=40+8

6w=48

w=48/6

w=8

Therefore the width=8;

length= 2w-4 = 2(8)-4  = 16-4  = 12

perimeter = 40 units
