Given : Diameter of the right circular cone ==> 8 cm

It means : The Radius of the right circular cone is 4 cm (as Radius is half of the Diameter)

Given : Volume of the right circular cone ==> 48π cm³

We know that :

\bigstar \ \ \boxed{\textsf{Volume of a right circular cone is given by : $\pi r^2\dfrac{h}{3}$}}

where : r is the radius of the circular cross-section.

             h is the height of the right circular cone.

Substituting the respective values in the formula, we get :

\mathsf{\implies \pi \times (4)^2 \times \dfrac{h}{3} = 48\pi}

\mathsf{\implies 16 \times \dfrac{h}{3} = 48}

\mathsf{\implies \dfrac{h}{3} = 3}

\implies \boxed{\mathsf{h= 9 \ cm}}

<u>Answer</u> : Height of the given right circular cone is 9 cm

Jari invests in a CD with an annual interest rate of 6.90% compounded quarterly. How many years will it take for Jari's investme
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:   10.1246 years (approx)

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, She invests in a CD with an annual interest rate of 6.90% compounded quarterly.

Let the initial amount or principal = P

And, Let after t years it is doubled.

Therefore, 2P= P(1+\frac{6.9}{400} )^{4t}

⇒ 2 = (1+\frac{6.9}{400} )^{4t}

⇒log 2 = t log(1+\frac{6.9}{400} )^4 ( By taking log both sides)

⇒log 2 = t log(1.01725 )^4

⇒t= log 2/log 1.07080599536= 10.1245504311≈10.1246 years

??? quadrilateral abcd ??? is inscribed in this circle. what is the measure of angle c? enter your answer in the box. ?? a quadr
Readme [11.4K]
Answer: The measure of angle C is 107 degrees.

When, you have a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle, measure of the opposites sides are supplementary (they add to 180). Therefore, we can write and solve the following equation with angles D and B to find the value of x in the problem.

3x + 9 + 2x - 4 = 180
5x + 5 = 180
5x = 175
x = 35

Now, input x = 35 into the expression for A to find that the measure of angle A is 73.

Since A and C are supplementary:
A + C = 180
73 + C = 180
C = 107
