Answer:

d.8.63 g/ml

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello

In physics the density is a scalar magnitude referred to the amount of mass in a given volume of a substance or a solid object.it is given by:

density =\frac{mass\ of\ the\ object}{volume\ of\ the\ object} \\

Step 1

Find the volume of the object

According to the question

(Eq1)Volume of water=48.4 ml.

(Eq2)Volume of water+volume of the solid=62.7 ml

(Eq3)Mass of the object = 123.4 g

Now, from (Eq2) find volume of the solid

(Eq2)Volume of water+volume of the solid=62.7 ml

subtract volume of water on both sides

Volume of water+volume of the solid-Volume of water=62.7 ml-Volume of water

hence

(Eq4)volume of the solid=62.7 ml-Volume of water

Now, put (Eq1) into (Eq4)

volume of the solid=62.7 ml-48.4 ml

volume of the solid=14.3 ml

Step 2

put the values into the equation

density =\frac{mass\ of\ the\ object}{volume\ of\ the\ object} \\d=\frac{123.4 \ g}{14.3 \ ml} \\d=8.62937 \frac{g}{ml} \\ approximates\\d=8.63 g/ml

d=8.63 g/ml

in fact, answer b is not wrong since

1 ml=1 cm^{3}

The total simple interest on $1600 invested for five years is $224. What is the percentage rate per annum?
mash [69]

Answer:

The percentage rate per annum is 2.8%

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to multiply the principal by the time, then divide the interest by the product of P×T, so:

1,600 × 5 = 8,000

224 ÷ 8,000 = 0.028

Then we convert our final product to a percentage.

0.028 to a percent is 2.8%

Xelga [282]

Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2}{3} \div \frac{1}{6} can also be written as  \frac{2}{3} \times \frac{6}{1}. Evaluating this gives \frac{2 \times 6}{1 \times 3} = \frac{12}{3} = 4

Happy snow day! My project
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

21 Snowmen

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of your yard is 25ft + 28ft + 25ft + 28ft = 106ft

Each snowman is 5ft across, so divide 106ft by 5ft.

106ft / 5ft = 21 with a remainder of 1ft
