Notice the picture
we know DE, or the whole segment is 10x-12
and P is the midpoint
so.. the point P is cutting DE in two equal halves,
namely, DP and PE
so... whatever 10x-12 is, DP is half of that
thus
\bf DP=\cfrac{DE}{2}\implies 3x+2=\cfrac{10x-12}{2}

solve for "x",

how long is DP? well, once you get "x", plug it in 3x+2,
that's how long DP is :)

kvv77 [185]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x = total number of basketball games that was played by the team this season.

Alon started in 60% of his team’s basketball games this season. This means that he started in a total number of 60 percent of x basketball games this season.

60% of x basketball games this season = 60/100 × x

= 0.6×x = 0.6x

From the information given, Alon started a total of 12 basketball games this season. Therefore,

0.6x = 12

x = 12/0.6 = 20

Answer:

Your question cannot be correct

Step-by-step explanation:

A line passing through points (6,6) and (6,1) cannot have a slope of 5.

This line passing through these two points would be a vertical line. The slope of a vertical line is considered UNDEFINED.

NOTE: Angles not necessarily drawn to scale.
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

x = 45°

Step-by-step explanation:

Vertical Angle Theorem

When two straight lines intersect, they form two pairs of angles. The vertically opposite (non-adjacent) angles are congruent (equal).

From inspection of the given diagram, the straight line with points C and D and the straight line with points F and G intersect at point E.

Therefore, angles ∠FEC and ∠DEG are vertically opposite, and so they are equal.

From inspection of the diagram:

 • ∠FEC = x°
 • ∠DEG = 20° + 25° = 45°

Therefore:

⇒ ∠FEC =∠DEG

⇒ x = 45°
