To be perfectly honest, I'm not quite sure how anybody could help but you. These are opinion based questions, therefore unless i were to use my opinion, or my crystal ball, i couldnt give you a concrete answer.
There are many answers varying from the artwork to the text. Thomas Pain's reason for writing <em>Common Sense</em> was to help get the people of Great Britain to see what kind of government was being ruled by them and how the people needed to stop the way they were being treated.
