Answer with Explanation:

The early people adapted to their new environments in many ways.

During those days, people started putting a lot of effort in order for them to adapt to their environment. For example, in the Neolitihic Era, people realized to stop moving from one place to another and just "settle in one place."

Before this, they already started building fires in order to protect them from harsh weather and climate and serve as a means to cook their food. They also made clothes made of fur, grass, leaves, etc. and wrap them around to serve as protection. When they started living in communities, that is settling down in one place, they experienced an incredible change.

One major change was seen on how they brought water from a natural source to an area without a reliable source (irrigation). In this case, the early people were able to provide water to the different areas that were distant from the natural water supply. This can be seen in the early civilization of Mesopotamia, where people dug trenches in order to serve water to other areas.

Tropical rain forests tend to have soils that are nutrient poor, and most of the nutrients are found in the top few inches of th
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

The tropical rainforest refers to the region that lies in the tropical regions of both the hemispheres. This region is rich in thick and diverse species of plants and trees as the area receives a significantly high amount of rainfall throughout the year.

Due to the excessive amount of rainfall, there are lesser amount of essential soil nutrients. As it rains, the water washes away the valuable minerals that are required for the extension and development of plants.

The barks of these trees are usually smooth and their leaves have drip tips due to which the rainwater is quickly allowed to fall on the soil surface and rapidly erode the soil particles. The roots of the trees in this region are usually short as they do not get the required amount of mineral nutrients.

So, the tropical trees are usually poor in soil nutrients.

A park ranger records the daily number of individuals who visited a park for six months before and six months after an admission
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

C - Control series design.

Explanation:

A control series design involves, first, finding an appropiate "control group", a similar population that didn't receive a particular manipulation or chance (such as the two other parks that have no admission fee). Control series design is not really admisible because it's not really a control group. It's a previous step.
