careless tourist don't usually pay attention to what damage they could be doing which causes damage to the coral, the breakage of coral colonies and tissue damage can be caused by direct contact such as kicking, touch, walking, stepping, or gear contact

another thing that can cause damage is boat anchors from tourists boats which can cause overturning of colonies and tissues damage

it can cause changes in the marine life  by humans feeding the marine life

and last tourist throw trash down into the ocean which can cause all sorts of problems
