The northern tower (first) was hit at 8:46 am.
The southern tower (second) was hit at 9:03 am.
After the water gushed aboard and the boat split into two, there was nothing left that kept the boat afloat. The weight of water and gravity ultimately pulled the large cruiser to its watery doom.
