Because we can say that it was like the first constitution of the USA. It was signed aboard ship on November 11th, 1620. It was signed by male puritans that were fleeing from religious persecution by king James of England. A constitution is also a compact.

The significance of the Mayflower Compact is illustrated as it was the first democratic government to be established in the colonies - The colonists agreed to choose their leaders and make their own laws which they agreed to follow. Basically they decided they wanted to be sort of independent and have the right of like electing leaders

The american academy of pediatrics recommends adoptive parents do what?
Katarina [22]
Hello there!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends adoptive parents to perform a complete medical examination of adoptive children.

The reason for that is that Adoptive Children frequently have health or psychological issues from the background where they come from. For adoptive parents to provide them with the best conditions and care possible, a thorough medical examination with specialists is recommended as soon as the child is at home.

Have a nice day!

What are the key features of a codified constitution? (5 Marks)
Vesna [10]

The key features of a codified constitution are:

1. Authoritative - A constitution is perceived as a law that is higher than regular legislation.

2. Entrenched - This type of constitution is called entrenched, which means that amending or abolishing it is a very difficult thing to do.

3. Judiciable - Since the constitution is a higher law, other laws can be judged against it, thus it can be seen if they are constitutional.

sergey [27]

Answer:

Nullification proposed that the states had the right to decide which national laws states would accept.

Explanation:

 • With a view to dispense greater power to the states and to maintain their autonomy, John Calhoun proposed that the state governments should be allowed to choose which federal laws did they not want to implement in their states.
 • The demands put up by the theory were never processed by any federal courts of the US as it is deemed that such a law would prove to be threat to the integrity of the nation.
