Both sides are equal to each other. Hence, infinite solutions for this equation.

\dfrac{1}{2} (b + 14) =  \dfrac{b + 14}{2}

That both sides are equal no matter what the value of b is, it would be equal, b/c both of those sides are being halved. infinite solutions
