The formula for the area of a triangle is:
hb/2
so if the area of a triangle is 56 you can say:
hb/2 = 56 ⇒ hb = 112
now you can find the numbers of h and b:
they can be: 56 and 2
they can be: 28 and 4
they can be: 16 and 7
they can be: 14 and 8 :))
i hope this is helpful
have a nice day

The sum of three consecutive even numbers is 522.find the number
Lina20 [59]

Answer: 172, 174 and 176

Step-by-step explanation:

Since they are even numbers,

Let x be the number, x + 2 be the second number and x +4 the third number

can think of this as x+(x+2)+(x+4)=522

so you get 3x=522-6

3x= 516

so x=172

If x is 172, second number is 174 and third number is 176
