Answer:

Reclaim the Holy Land.

Explanation:

On November 27, the year 1095.

Pope Urban II makes perhaps the most influential speech of the Middle Ages, giving rise to the Crusades by calling all Christians in Europe to war against Muslims in order to reclaim the Holy Land, with a cry of “Deus vult!” or “God wills it!”.

The Crusades were organized by western European Christians after centuries of Muslim wars of expansion. Their primary objectives were to stop the expansion of Muslim states, to reclaim for Christianity the Holy Land in the Middle East, and to recapture territories that had formerly been Christian.

Pope Urban denigrated the Muslims, exaggerating stories of their anti-Christian acts, and promised absolution and remission of sins for all who died in the service of Christ. Pope Urban's war cry caught fire, mobilising clerics to drum up support throughout Europe for the crusade against the Muslims.

Which describes why this cartoon about FDR's presidency in the 1940s would also be an accurate interpretation of Lyndon B. Johns
stich3 [128]

Despite not posting a cartoon, there is an answer that would be an accurate interpretation of both Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1940s and of Lyndon B. Johnson's domestic policy during his term as president in the 1960s. The correct answer is D) Johnson became so consumed with international power that he ignored legislative policies on the homefront.

The main initiative durin Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency was the Vietnam War. While he focused on it as part of American international policy, fisures began to separate American society. His approval ratings dropped from 70% in mid-1965 to below 40% in 1967. Similar to Johnson's emphasis on war-based international politics, Franklin D. Roosevelt also went from crafting the New Deal to the war effort once The USA entered WWII.

sashaice [31]

American ships became targets of attack by 1917 because Americans continued to trade with the warring nations.

At that time, the american vowed that we adopt a non-interventionist policy during the war time. But when we continue to trade with warring nations, other nations viewed it as we supplying materials and supplies to one of the nations that involved in the war. This is why american ships became targets of attack.
