Answer:

A karyotype shows chromosomes map to determine if the right number is present and to check if each chromosome is normal.

Explanation:

Karyotyping is a procedure to describe the number and appearance of chromosomes. Karyotype is used to detect the structural abnormality in chromosomes or detect any missing chromosome. This test is used by doctors to detect chromosome abnormalities, in order to help diagnose genetic diseases, some birth defects and certain genetic disorders.

To do a karyotype, a sample of cells from the patient is required. Where the cells come from depends on where you need the examine the chromosomes.

The number and appearance of chromosomes in a cell is called a karyotype.

Sex chromosomes are placed as the last pair of chromosomes.

Karyotype analysis can reveal abnormalities, such as missing chromosomes, extra chromosomes, deletions, duplications, and translocations.

Stels [109]

The graph is showing how primary production decreases as deep increases. It is due to the amount of available light in the water.

Primary production on the ocean

The primary production in the ocean is performed by microorganisms known as phytoplankton.

Phytoplankton populations are primary producers that include bacteria and algae, which use photosynthesis to produce biomass and release oxygen.

In a similar manner to plants, phytoplankton communities also contain chlorophyll in order to convert sunlight into biomass.

As ocean deep increases, the amount of available light in the water decreases, thereby also decreasing the primary production of the phytoplankton populations.

*anatomy & physiology question*
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

32 mm

Explanation:

The field of view is the total area visible through the microscope . The diameter of the field of view can be measured.

There is an inverse relationship between the magnification and the field diameter. As magnifications decreases, the field diameter increases by the same proportion, and as magnifications increases, the field diameter decreases by the same proportion.

The relationship between field diameter and magnification is:

magnification of A * field diameter of A = magnification of B * field diameter of B

120X * 8 mm = 30X * B

B = 120X / 30X * 8 mm

B = 32 mm = 32000 μm

The field diameter of 30X magnification is 32 mm (32000 μm)
