Vertical and horizontal lines are static; whilst curving and diagonal lines are considered dynamic :)
If you forget to backstitch the peice will most likely come un-done. But u can probably go over it easlily
Tint is a color + white
example : pink is a tint because it is red + white
shade is a color + black
example : dark blue is a shade because it can be blue + black
