This is just simple division.

5.5 * 10^16
——————
5.5 * 10^8

The 5.5’s cancel out leaving 10^16/10^8

Exponents subtract when you divide like terms. So the answer is #1. It’s not #2 because that is 10^7

Here are the first five terms of an arithmetic sequence. 4 9 14 19 24 Find, in terms of n, an expression for the nth term of thi
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

The nth term can be represented by;

Tn = 5n- 1

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we are concerned with finding an expression in terms of n for then the term of the sequence.

Mathematically, the nth term of a sequence Tn can be represented by the formula;

Tn = a + (n-1)d

where a is the first term in the sequence which is 4 , and d is the common difference which is the difference between 2 consecutive terms which is 9-4= 5

our n is n, since we do not know the number of terms we are finding for

Plugging these values, we have;

Tn = 4 + (n-1)5

Tn = 4 + 5n -5

Tn = 5n- 1

An amusement park ticket normally sells for $32.50. An employee receives 20% off the price of a ticket.
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

So the answer is A

Step-by-step explanation:

Change 20% to a decimal  0.20

Take the original ticket price $32.50 and multiply it by 0.20

Get $ 6.50.

Now substract the original ticket price $32.50- $ 6.50

$ 26.00 would be the employee discount ticket price
