This statement is true.

When working out, you should always rise and lower weights with slow and controlled motions. It is to maximize the benefits of lifting and to prevent injury.

As for the benefits: Slow lifts can build muscles much faster than regular or fast ones. Rising or lowering the lifts in a slow motion forces the muscles to hold the weight longer. The particular muscle involved in the move stays activated longer. If one goes fast on lifting for example, momentum will do a lot of work which shortens the activity of the muscles. And the more a muscles works/is activated, the bigger it grows and the more it shows on the body. The goal is to fatigue the muscles before they fail. Muscle fatigue is a very good sign in building a muscle mass as the damaged muscles instigate greater growth. Finally, lifting/lowering slowly activates the skeletal muscles, they use a lot of energy and one burns more calories while using them.

Fewer accidents happen with slow lifting/lowering as one focuses on correct form and proper execution of each move; fast, uncontrolled moves can cause many injuries.

What are some ways to let your personality show in every minute of your speech?
ExtremeBDS [4]

In order to have an essay that speaks of your personality is to allow proper speech and voice to come through. Writing is often very informative and personal and you're often asked to rephrase summaries or paragraphs in your own words for a reason- your voice. You do not want to type or write the way you speak or talk, but rather use expressive words, literature, figurative language and imagery to seep through and create writing specific to your voice and personality. In speech you are allowed to take this to the next level however and vocalize this more. If you are talking a means of presentation to an audience you want to start as if talking to a friend and engage the audience with a hook just like you would an essay, you want to speak more than examples like "Thank you for being here" Or "Welcome", The words you say can be emphasized to have more meaning, elevate the way you speak with your words and pronunciation that further vocalizes opinions/facts and speaks out to a bigger audience and draws them in for more. You want to use personal memories and facts to expose personality and interests, but not in a narrative way that comes out as "I like the color blue" or "I personally really like cats and that's why...", expressive literature and technology, enigmatic/informative and inventive words, emphasize your contextual facts, evidences, phrases AND words with your personal voice.

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for as an answer but based on what you asked this is the best I can give for now lol.

Which quotation best supports the theme that men lack appreciation for women’s traditional roles? "(as one turning from serious
PIT_PIT [208]

A quotation is simply the words which are taken from any person, and then they are repeated by another person, beside the original person who said it. The quotation that best supports the theme that men lack appreciation for women’s traditional roles would be option A: (as one turning from serious things to little pleasantries) Well ladies, have you decided whether she was going to quilt it or knot it?"

Usage of quotation to express thoughts

The above answer is discussed in further detail as given below:

 • Out of the statements spoken in the above question, the one that shows that men are unappreciative of women’s roles is when the person made a joke about whether the woman was going to quilt or knot it.

 • In the above statement it is being conveyed that women were considered good enough only for household roles, and even then they weren’t given the due appreciation.

Therefore, the correct answer is option A.
