Hello Wtfiswrongwitmeh, using radiocarbon dating, or carbon dating, you can determine the age of an organic object from the relative proportions of the carbon isotopes it contains. Therefore, if you take the fossils form the fossil record and determine how old they are, you can see how/if they evolved over time.

Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness. Studies have linked a common form of glaucoma to three genes and more than 20 genetic
NeX [460]

Answer: The correct answer is -

d) a dominant trait that depends on the presence of only one of many dominant alleles.

Glaucoma is an autosomal dominant trait, meaning that presence of single copy of the defective gene is enough to cause the disease.

It corresponds to a group of diseases, which cause damage in the optic nerve, leading to loss of vision and if not treated, it ultimately leads to blindness.

Thus, option D) is the right answer.

Which competition is exclusively intraspecific?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
I would probably say d because Intraspecific competition is an interaction in population ecology, whereby members of the same species compete for limited resources. This leads to a reduction in fitness for both individuals, but the more fit individual survives and is able to reproduce.

What was healthcare in the ancient world like? How did it provide the foundations for modern healthcare?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer and explanation;

Health-care in the ancient world was very experimental and under researched. The ancient methods for health care was  affordable only if the best health care was accessible when needed.

The healthcare in the ancient world had a lot to do with herbs and plants because this is what they knew. However they also learned from these and learned about the body and how it works and tried different things.
