What would a third party need to do to win national elections

Social Studies

A third party winning the national election in the United States is a near impossibility. The Republican and Democratic parties are so exceptionally well organized after over 150 years of experience that they defeat any third party. The lack of organization is in fact the number one reason the Independent Party never wins. Another aspect of this is media attention; the biggest media sources seen by the common people only cover the candidates from the aforementioned Republican and Democratic parties. The final aspect is what is known as the Spoiler Affect; the better a third party does, the more he hurts the party most closely affiliated with him, as this splits the vote. A classic example of this is the 1912 election, in which 60% voted Republican, but this was split between two different branches of the Republican party, while only 40% of the population voted Democrat, but since the Republican vote was divided, the Democrat won by a large margin.

Which nations serve as international peacekeepers? Canada and the U.S. Greenland and Mexico Mexico and the U.S. the U.S and Gree
grigory [225]

The correct answer is - Canada and the United States.

Canada and the United States are both countries that officially serve as international peacekeepers. In essence, this means that these countries can intervene in a military way in other countries if their judgement is that there's a conflict that those countries are not able to solve on their own, if there's a danger of war, or if the humans rights are violated. Now this is a very nice and noble cause, but unfortunately, the United States has used this privilege on multiple occasions in its advantage, in order to gain something that is in their interest.

ad-work [718]

Answer:

In Greek mythology, Atlas (/ˈætləs/; Greek: Ἄτλας, Átlas) was a Titan condemned to hold up the celestial heavens for eternity after the Titanomachy. Atlas also plays a role in the myths of two of the greatest Greek heroes: Heracles (Hercules in Roman mythology) and Perseus. According to the ancient Greek poet Hesiod, Atlas stood at the ends of the earth in extreme west.[1] Later, he became commonly identified with the Atlas Mountains in northwest Africa and was said to be the first King of Mauretania.[2] Atlas was said to have been skilled in philosophy, mathematics, and astronomy. In antiquity, he was credited with inventing the first celestial sphere. In some texts, he is even credited with the invention of astronomy itself.[3]
