Answer : The hydrocarbons containing a saturated carbon ring are called Aliphatic cyclic hydrocarbon.

Explanation :

As the organic compounds are classified into two categories that is acyclic (aliphatic) and cyclic (aromatic) compounds.

Acyclic compounds : It is an open chain compound with linear structure.

Cyclic compounds : It is a closed chain compound having a carbon ring structure.

Hydrocarbon : It is an organic compound that contains only hydrogen and the carbon atoms. They are of two types which are saturated hydrocarbon and unsaturated hydrocarbon.

Saturated hydrocarbon : These are the compounds which containing single bonds between the carbon-carbon atoms. In saturated compounds, there are more number of hydrogen bonded with the carbon atom.

Unsaturated hydrocarbon : These are the compounds which containing double and triple bonds between the carbon-carbon atoms. In unsaturated compounds, there are less number of hydrogen bonded with the carbon atom.

Hence, the hydrocarbons containing a saturated carbon ring are called Aliphatic cyclic hydrocarbon.

In the ground-state electron configuration of fe3+, how many unpaired electrons are present? express your answer numerically as
Virty [35]
Answer:
            Iron has 5 unpaired electrons in Fe⁺³ state.

Explanation:

Iron having atomic number 26 has following electronic configuration in neutral state.

                             Fe =  1s², 2s², 2p⁶, 3s², 3p⁶, 4s², 3d⁶

When Iron looses three electrons it attains +3 charge with following electronic configuration.

                             Fe⁺³ =  1s², 2s², 2p⁶, 3s², 3p⁶, 3d⁵

The five electrons in d-orbital exist in unpaired form as,

                          3(dz)¹, 3d(xz)¹, 3d(yz)¹, 3d(xy)¹, 3(dx²-y²)¹

Is nac1 (table salt) dissolve with water a chemical or physical change quizet?
tia_tia [17]
Physical. When you simply desolve something with water, to don't actually change it. This action can be undone.
An example of a chemical reaction is when the cells within completely change. You you burn wood, you can't go back in time and un-burn it. Does that make sense?

Answer:

Explanation:

A substance that produces an excess of hydroxide ion (-OH) in aqueous solution.

       This is an arrhenius Base

According to the arrhenius theory, a base is a substance that combines with water to produce excess hydroxide ions, OH⁻ in an aqeous solution. Examples are :

  • Sodium hydroxide NaOH
  • Potassium hydroxide KOH

A substance that produces an excess of hydrogen ion (H+) in aqueous solution

      This is an arrhenius Acid

An arrhenius acid is a substance that reacts with water to produce excess hydrogen ions in aqueous solutions.

Examples are;

  • Hydrochloric acid HCl
  • Hydroiodic acid HI
  • Hydrobromic acid HBr
