Generalized, vague, or exaggerated claims particularly when asserted humorously are called puffery.

Puffery is usually used in advertising, when companies try to show their products as better than they usually are. They praise them, and sometimes exaggerate a bit in order to sell their products faster.
A claim is just something you say, it doesn't have to have this definition that refers to puffery. Concatenated reasoning can either be true of false. Slanting is telling lies about something.

zimovet [89]

Answer: Manny is classified as driven by a need for achievement

Explanation: Need for achievement is a trait of an individual's desire for significant accomplishment, mastering of skills, control, or high standards. People with this trait are spurred to succeed in competition and to excel in activities they engage in. This need is influenced by the internal drive for action (intrinsic motivation), and the pressure of meeting the expectations of others (extrinsic motivation).

In the preparation of plasmid dna, what is the function of the potassium acetate?.
BARSIC [14]

The single-stranded genomic DNA, the SDS, and the cellular waste are precipitated in a high-salt environment that is created by the potassium ion from the potassium acetate.

After centrifugation, the supernatant will still contain your plasmid DNA. Plant DNA has frequently been extracted using the potassium acetate method.

It has been suggested in situations when several markers need to be evaluated on the same samples since it generates enough DNA to test a high number of markers. Typically, laboratory procedures call for the use of potassium acetate.

In molecular biology applications, potassium acetate precipitates sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and SDS-bound proteins to enable their removal from DNA. It may also be employed as a salt for the ethanol precipitation of DNA.
