Norma-Jean [14]

Answer: Neutrality

Explanation:The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is, in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible."

This supports a foreign policy called Neutrality which was said by George Washington in addressing the United States to avoid permanent alliances with other nations.

Neutrality describes a state of being neutral, unbiased and not to practice favouritism when connected to participation in war.

Which country did Chiang Kai-Shek lead? A. People's Republic of China B. People's Republic of Korea C. Republic of China D. Demo
klemol [59]

The correct answer is C. Republic of China.

Born on October 31, 1887, Ching Kai-Shek was a military leader who took the lead of the Kuomitang (Chinese Nationalist party) after Sun Yat-sen's death in 1925.

In this period, he worked on two fronts: one against the warlords in the North (groups that prevented the unification of China), the other, against communists in the Kuomitang.

In the 1930s, with China unified, Ching Kai-Shek launched new attacks against the Communists, led at the time by Mao Tse-Tung and Chou En-Lai, forcing them to start the Great March in 1934.

American interference through General George Marshall did not prevent the conflict from continuing, becoming more intense in 1946.

In 1948 the Communists conquered large cities such as Pequin, Shanghai and Canton.

With the victory of Mao consolidated in 1949, he fled to the island of Formosa (Taiwan) where on February 27, 1950 was elected president of the Republic of China.

He died on April 5, 1975 in the capital Taipei, and shortly after, Taiwan became completely independent of China.
