Answer:

Nuclear Arms race.

Extensive spying techniques.

Proxy Wars were fought under the influence of the two world powers.

Explanation:

Both countries have used comprehensive methods of spying against each other. It is estimated that in all of the numerous proxy wars waged between the United States of America and the Soviet Union, more than eleven million civilians were killed. The U.S. had a national intelligence agency named the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Soviets had the KGB. The Space Race emerged from the Cold War and the Internet was a direct result of that. During the Cold War there was a spike in nuclear weapons.

xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

Hello! Your answer would be, BELOW

Explanation:

The U.S. is poorly prepared for the next recession—but not for the reasons most people think (allegedly too-high public debt and too-low interest rates). Instead, we’re poorly prepared because we never made a dent in reducing inequality during the current economic expansion, and because too many of our policymakers have not fully grasped the economic fact that fiscal policy, particularly increases to public spending, is the most effective tool for ending a recession and aiding recovery. Monetary policy (Federal Reserve action) plays an important supporting role, but it cannot fight a recession by itself.

What advice about South Vietnam would you have given to President Johnson in 1963 when he took power? Why?
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

The advice to be given depends on which version of the war you could believe. Going with the views of General William Westmorland the American commander I would have advised President Johnson to continue with America's military commitment. With more than 33,000 American military personnel in Vietnam, the south was about to be defeated and Tet was mounted out of desperation. In other words, the US and her South Vietnamese allies were winning.

nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

Germany, under Kaiser Wilhelm II was a largely Militarist country. The joined their ally, Austria-Hungary, in war against Serbia, after the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Serbia's rejection of the Austro-Hungarian ultimatum. This ultimatum would have basically put Hungary in charge of the Serbian government, an act of imperialism. The alliances between Austria-Hungary, Germany, and the Ottoman Empire, as well as the Russian, French, and British alliance, later followed by the United States, allowed this to become a full scale world war. Nationalism played a big part in starting WW1, as the Serbian Terrorists who killed the archduke wee in favor of Serbian nationalism and against Austro-Hungarian influence.

I hope this helps.
