I just finished reading Anne Frank's diary for school, and I believe the book she was reading was 1, or "What Do You Think of the Modern Girl." I remember on my book, the entry was about 5-7 (?) pages long, and at the very beginning of it, she mentioned that very book. It wasn't anything about boys, Jews, or war because I remember her saying some of the details in the book applied to her (not that this is a direct quote; she said something along those lines).

But yeah, the answer is number 1! Hope this helps you! :)

how did the Mayberry V Madison ruling affect affect the Budgetel branch of federal government plz help
Lyrx [107]

Answer:

Marbury v. Madison firmly established that the Supreme Court of the United States has the power to

determine the constitutionality and validity of the acts of the other two branches of government – a

concept that is a fundamental characteristic of American government. But this was not always the case.

In Marbury v. Madison, decided in 1803, the Supreme Court, for the first time, struck down an act of

Congress as unconstitutional. This decision created the doctrine of judicial review and set up the

Supreme Court of the United States as chief interpreter of the Constitution.
