In the EZ pay plan, the cost is $0.15 per minute.

To find the cost for x minutes, we need to multiply 0.15 with x.

So, the expression is 0.15x.

Increase £64 by 70%??????
olya-2409 [2.1K]
I'm not sure if you used the euro sign accidentally or what but this is how to increase 64 by 70%

divide 64 by 10.
6.40
then multiply it by 7.
44.80
then add 44.8 to your original number. (64)
the answer is:
108.8

If you did put that sign there purposely and if it means something then I don't know if it matters or if this is right.

A photo is 5 inches wide and 8 inches long is enlarged. how long is the new photo if it is (1) 10 inches; (2)15 inches;(3)8 iinc
Bess [88]
The ratio of width to height is 5 to 8. Using this ratio, you can determine the lengths.
1. 5/8=10/x
5x=80
x=16in
2. 5/8=15/x
5x=120
x=24in
3. 5/8 = 8/x
5x=64
x=12.8in

Line L passes through the point (-1, 1) and is PARALLEL to the line shown here. An equation of line L is
Pachacha [2.7K]
The problem cannot be fully solved because you did provide the line on which the line is parallel/ but i can give you the steps on how to solve it. first solve the slope of the parallel line by
m = ( y2 - y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )
then the slope of that line is equal to slope of line passing pooint ( -1 , 1)
then solve the y intercept of the line using
y = mx + b
where b is the y intercept
then you will have the equation of the line

Which of the following is the minimum value of the equation y = 3x2 - 4x - 2?
natka813 [3]

Answer: 3x

Step-by-step explanation:

*Remember BIDMAS*

b- brackets i- Indices (exponents) d- division m- multiplication a- addition s- subtraction

(*Reminder* exponents can be written on a keyboard like 2 squared is 2^2)

you need to follow these steps to be able to solve any equation

if there is no brackets like yours then add to make it easier

3x^2 - 4x - 2 = (3x^2) - 4x - 2

From the steps I showed you indices is first so 3x multiplied by 3x is 9x

now there is nothing left except for subtraction so solve from left to right always so 9x - 4x - 2 is 5x then 5x - 2 is 3x, x doesn’t change or gets subtracted.

i hope it helped :)
