Answer:

0.571428571428.....

Step-by-step explanation:

The process done is absolutely correct.You need to add 0s and go on dividing until you get reminder to be 0. Here, after those steps the reminder gets repeated and hence the further division by adding 0s will be the same as the above. These are called <u>recurring decimals </u>because they keep on repeating. so the answer is 0.571428571428571428......

The boundary lines for the system of inequalities is given in the graph.
diamong [38]

Answer:

C)

region C

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to use what is called the zero-interval test [test point] in order to figure out which portion of the graph these inequalities share:

\displaystyle y ≤ -x + 2

0 ≤ 2 ☑ [We shade the portion of the graph that CONTAIN THE ORIGIN, which is the bottom portion.]

\displaystyle y ≥ 2x - 3

0 ≥ −3 ☑ [We shade the portion of the graph that CONTAINS THE ORIGIN, which is the left side.]

So, now that we got that all cleared up, we can tell that both graphs share a region where the ORIGIN IS VISIBLE. Therefore region C matches the above inequalities.

Calculate the length b to two decimal places.
Andrej [43]

Answer:

B. 21.64

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given a triangle and we are asked to find the length of AC (b).

We will use law of cosines to find the length of side AC.

c^{2}=a^{2}+b^{2}-2ab \text{ cos }\theta

Upon substituting our given values in the formula we will get,

(AC)^{2}=15^{2}+12^{2}-2\times 15\times 12 \text{ cos}(106)

(AC)^{2}=225+144-360\text{ cos}(106)

(AC)^{2}=369-360(-0.275637355817)

(AC)^{2}=369+99.22944809412

(AC)^{2}=468.22944809412

Upon taking square root of both sides of our equation we will be get,

AC=\sqrt{468.22944809412}

AC=21.6386101238993629\approx 21.64

Therefore, the length of b is 21.64 and option B is the correct choice.
