To answer this first we set up a proportion and then solve. Lets do it:-

\frac{4}{12}= \frac{x}{80}

Cross Multiply:-

80 · 4 = 320

Divide:-

420 ÷ 12 = 60

So, 180 ears of corn are for $60.

Hope I helped ya!!

Dimas [21]

Answer: \$16\dfrac{9}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Hannah had 30 dollars

Money spent on gift A

8\ \dfrac{7}{10}=\dfrac{8\times 10+7}{10}=\dfrac{87}{10}

money spent on gift B

4\ \dfrac{2}{5}=\dfrac{22}{5}

Money spent on gift C

\Rightarrow \text{Total-Money spent on (A+B)}\\\\\Rightarrow 30-\dfrac{87}{10}-\dfrac{22}{5}=30-\dfrac{87}{10}-\dfrac{44}{10}\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{300-87-44}{10}=\dfrac{169}{10}\\\\\Rightarrow \$16\ \dfrac{9}{10}

Can someone please help me with this math problem
Vlada [557]

We have f\left(f^{-1}(x)\right) = x for inverse functions f(x) and f^{-1}(x). Then if f(x) = 2x+5, we have

f\left(f^{-1}(x)\right) = 2f^{-1}(x) + 5 = x \implies f^{-1}(x) = \dfrac{x-5}2

Then

f^{-1}(8) = \dfrac{8-5}2 = \boxed{\dfrac32}
