So based on the information here, it costs $3,000 up front but an additional $1,000 for each play and each sold out performance brings in $2,500

For the sake of simplicity, when solving it, I won't be putting the dollar sign

So the equation is the following:

3,000+1,000x=2,500x

So you need to get "x" by itself

First, minus 1,000x from each side

So it is now 3,000=1,500x

Now you divide 3,000 by 1,500 which is 2

x=2

So that means two performances need to sell out in order to break even with the cost

-------------------

To check:

$3,000+$1,000(2)=$2,500(2)

$1,000×2=$2,000 and $3,000+$2,000=$5,000

$5,000=$2,5000(2)

$2,500×2=$5,000

$5,000=$5,000

So it it correct

Find the measure of the largest angle in the triangle shown . PLS HELP
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

72°

Step-by-step explanation:

So the three angles of a triangle always add up to 180°. This means that

15x + 21x + 24x = 180

This becomes:

60x = 180

And solves as:

x = 3

The largest angle has to be the one marked with 24x because it has the largest coefficient and x is a constant.

24x = 24(3) = 72

The measure of the largest angle in the triangle is 72°.

Can you please help me I need help with this question it’s for my test
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

y=3

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming this is an enlargement where EFGH is enlarged to ABCD then the former is the object and the latter is the image. If so then

scale factor(k) of the enlargement=image length/corresponding object length

k=3/2

Therefore, y=4.5/k

y=4.5/(3/2)

y=3

If we take the assumption another way and say ABCD is reduced to EFGH then the former is the object and the latter is the image.

In that case,

k=⅔

y=4.5×k

y=3

In either case y=3units
