Molar mass( PCl3)=31.0+35.5*3=137.5 g/mol
62.0 g PCl3*(1mol/137.5 g) number of mol PCl3
62.0 g PCl3*(1mol/137.5 g)*(3molHCl/1 mol HCl)=1.35 mol theoretical yield of HCl

M(HCl)=1.0+35.5=36.5 g/mol
42.0 g HCl*1mol HCl/36.5 g=1.18 mol HCl actual yield

% yield =(1.18 mol HCl/1.35 mol HCl)*100%=87.4%,
Answer will be C 85.0 %

(I think difference is coming from calculations, they probably calculated this way
62.0 g PCl3*(1mol/137.5 g)*(3molHCl/1 mol HCl)*36.5gHCl/1mol HCl=
=49.35 g HCl theorethical yield

(42.0g HCl/49.37 g HCl)*100 %= 85.0 %
Yes, they calculated this way)

vova2212 [387]

To insert a thermometer into an adapter, use mineral oil to prepare the thermometer. Then, hold the thermometer close to the adapter and slowly turn the thermometer into the adapter.

The term "temperature" refers to a measurement of how cold or hot an actual physical object is. It is measured with a thermometer, which gives readings in Celsius, Kelvin, and Fahrenheit (°C, K, and °F).

The average kinetic energy of the particles in a given substance is often measured by temperature. A thermometer is a tool used to gauge a substance's or a body's temperature (degree of hotness or coolness). It is a bulb-shaped piece of thin glass that usually contains either coloured alcohol or mercury.

In order to get readings throughout the distillation process, a thermometer adapter is used with a temperature probe. Use mineral oil to prepare or make the thermometer suitable before inserting it into the adapter. After that, slowly insert the thermometer into the adaptor while holding it close to it.

Heterotrophic bacteria obtain food by
BARSIC [14]
Heterotrophic cells must ingest biomass to obtain their energy and nutrition. Heterotrophic microorganisms mostly feed upon dead plants and animals, and are known as decomposers. ... Some animals also specialize on feeding on dead organic matter, and are known as scavengers or detritivores. Hope this was helpful.
