What damages or problems in cells result from disease?

Health

Answer:

You could have rapid cell growth, rapid cell death, or maybe not enough production of cells. The cells may be too weak and serve no use.

The disease could be attacking your white blood cells but there's not enough to defend your system, or you could be anemic and loose red blood cells you can't spare.

It really depends on the type of disease. Is it an infectious disease, non-infectious? What body system is the disease attacking?

Describe what happens when a muscle contracts
madam [21]
During contraction, the filaments slide past he thick filaments, shortening the sarcomere. The thick and thin filaments do the actual work of a muscle, and the way they do this is pretty cool. Thick filaments are made of a protein called myosin. At the molecular level, a thick filament is a shaft of myosin molecules arranged in a cylinder. Thin filaments are made of another protein called actin. The thin filaments look like two strands of pearls twisted around each other.

What is difference between boiling and simmering
Fantom [35]

Boiling water is water that's bubbling at 212ºF. ... Simmering, on the other hand, is slower than that nice bubbling boil. It's still very hot—195 to 211ºF—but the water in this state isn't moving as quickly and isn't producing as much steam from evaporation. Simmering water is great for soups, broths and stews.
