Answer:

Income of Tanner is $62000

And income of Teresa is $70000

So option (b) will be the correct option

Explanation:

We have given that Tanner and Teresa shares income and losses in a ratio 2:1

We have given that net income of partnership = $132000

Salary of Tanner = $42000

And salary of Teresa = $60000

So total salary = $42000+$60000 = $102000

So profit = $132000-$102000 = $30000

As the profit is shared in ratio 2:1

So profit of tarred = \frac{2}{3}\times 30000=$20000

And profit of Teresa = $30000 - $20000 = $10000

So income of Tanner = $42000+$20000 = $62000

And income of Teresa = $60000+$10000 = $70000

So option (b) will be the correct answer

uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

=E7*C2/2

Explanation:

The interest expense will be the carrying value of the bond times the effective interest rate.

On cell C8 we have the interest expense

On E7 we have the carrying value which is the outstanding balance.

Then, on C2 we got the effective rate

As this is an annual formula, we must divide by two to convert to semiannual rate.

A U.S. Treasury bond pays a 4.5% coupon rate, has a $1,000 par value, and matures 30 years from now in 2050. The bond’s bid quot
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

yield of maturity =3.60 %

Explanation:

given data

face value FV = $1000

coupon rate r = 4.5%

no of compounding peryear = 2

time period t = 30 year

solution

first we get here interest per period that is PMT

PMT = FV × r  ÷ 2

PMT = 1000 × 4.5%  ÷ 2 = 23

now we get here bond value that is

bond value = 1000 × (116 + \frac{12}{32} )%

bond value = 1163.75

and

number of compound period till the maturity will be NPER

NPER = no of compounding peryear × time period

NPER = 30 ×  2 = 60

so now we get here yield of maturity by excel formula that is

yield of maturity = RATE(NPER,PMT,-PV,FV) × 2

yield of maturity = RATE(60,22.5,-1163.75,1000) × 2

yield of maturity =3.60 %

Where rationales exist, as in the case of natural monopoly, monopolies are permitted—and their prices are regulated. In other cases, monopoly is prohibited outright.
