In "Cairo: My City, Our Revolution", by Ahdaf Soueif, the author provides a description of the scene in Tahrir on February 1st. This scene helps the readers understand how the events are unfolding.

The scene takes place on Tahrir Square, which is also known as Liberation Square because most of the Egyptian demostrations take part there. Some lines above the author states "...what the regime ruling us had tried so hard to destroy: we had come together, as individuals, millions of us..." Egyptians are there because they want Mubarak to step out of government, after thirty years. A man watches the demonstration cheerfully, he is very glad to see how almost everyone is there, and the sun is shining "... old and young, rich and poor, they talked and walked and sang and played and joked and chanted. What aspect of life brings the monster sheer joy
crimeas [40]

Referring to Mary Shelly's Frankenstein

I believe the answer is: The coming of spring with its colors and smells

Ever since the monster is created, he always hated himself for his existence, and so do other people who judge the monster from his appearance alone.

But in the story, the author mentioned that the monster always find solace in soft colors and smells of a springtime forest, which help him to survive his suffering.

Animal Farm is a political allegory about the Russian Revolution. If you didn't know this fact, would the book still make sense?
Llana [10]
No because there is heavy rehtoric alluding to communist propaganda and ways of governing. especially the use of the word "comrade," in its essence, the entire story is just a parallel to the system of government during the Russian Revolution
