Can you think of any common "real-life" situations in which an understanding of conservation would allow a concrete operational
ELEN [110]

Situation: Walk down an ecological path in an natural park during a field-trip.

According to Jean Piaget's (a Swiss psychologist widely known for his work on child development, and one of his land mark theories, cognitive development theory):

 • a preoperational stage of development is characterized by the consolidation of language skills and a lacking of concrete logic thinking and also being unable to take the point of view of other people.
 • In contrast, operational stage of development, children thinking still moves in a concrete plane, children become much more logical and sophisticated in their thinking during this stage of development and are able to draw conclusions based on inductive logic, which is referred to as going from a concrete experience to a principle.

This being said, going back to our situation, a child in a preoperational stage of development walking down a natural park in a field trip with his family, but will probably be more concentrated on wildllife and general surrounding than on the importance of threes as shade providers, shelter food and other ecological services.

On the other hand, children in an operational stage of development in the same situation would be able to draw conclusions based on the importance of trees and the wide variety of ecological services they offer, and infer that places like the natural park (and other smaller, less complex parks) are important means of conservations.

During rapid resuscitation of a trauma patient, the blood filter has become clogged. what is the most appropriate intervention?
defon

Change the filter. A clogged filter must be changed to facilitate effective blood transfusion. Squeezing the filter and flushing the IV line do not help unclog the filter. A rapid infuser maybe used to transfuse blood but does not help when a filter is clogged.

What the IV means?

IV stands for intravenous which means that “inside the vein.” what is an IV? An IV is a skinny bendable tube that slides into one of your baby's veins. it is able to live there for a while. it may be mounted to tubing that consists of fluid, medicine or blood on your baby.

what's IV used for?

IV fluids are specially formulated liquids which can be injected right into a vein to save you or deal with dehydration. they may be used in humans of all ages who're ill, injured, dehydrated from workout or warmness, or undergoing surgical operation. Intravenous rehydration is a simple, safe and commonplace technique with a low hazard of complications.

Why do we provide IV in veins?

In veins blood flows in a incredibly low stress compared to oxygenated blood being pumped thru arteries at a better stress. So if the artery is punctured with a needle this could result in numerous blood loss. So specially injections are administered through the vein instead of an artery.

Are IV fluids right for you?

Hydration IV therapy will rapidly enhance the fitness of your skin, joints, and muscle tissues. The powerful influx of fluids and vitamins flushes toxins from those regions and restores them to complete fitness. Hydration IV therapy allows you appearance and experience wholesome, so that you can always be at your great.
