He believed that to get involved would stir up relations with other foreign allies therefore he thought it was best to stay uninvolved. For example during the French Revolution he created an act that kept us from becoming involved and this caused James Madison to say that what he did was out of line without approval of congress. this act was the Proclamation of Neutrality of 1793

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should bee able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
