So if we had;

(x,y) and we rotate 270 degrees about the origin, we will have (y , -x)

This is the case of the origin.

In cases where we are not rotating around the origin, say a point (a,b)

The result of the rotation will be;

(x,y) Turning to (y - b + a , a - x + b)

In the case of this question;

x = -2, y = 4

a = 1 , b = 3

Substituting these into the rotation equation, we have;

(4-3 + 1 , 1-(-2) + 3)

= (2 , 6)

So the coordinates of the point B’ is (2,6)
