Read the following dialogue: Mark: I deserve a raise! Boss: Why do you deserve a raise? Mark: Both Rachel and Soledad make three

dollars more an hour than I do, so I should make the same as they do. Boss: Both Rachel and Soledad have worked here longer than you and always receive top evaluations. Mark: Well, then I deserve a raise because I have a wife and two children at home, one of whom has a very expensive medical condition. Boss: No. If Mark wants to try again and convince his boss that he deserves a raise, how should he change his argument?

He should say that he deserves a raise because he is hard working and diligent in his work, never slacking off, nice to customers, goes the extra mile in doing things for his boss, etc.

If Teresa's daughter is my daughter's mother, what am I to Teresa?
jolli1 [7]
What is your gender?

let's first look at the case where you are female:

my daughter's mother would then be... just you.

so then you are Theresa's daugher!

if you are male then

your daughter's mother is your wife (let's assume for now)

so Theresa's daughter is your wife,
and Theresa is your mother-in-law and you are her son-in-law.

This is all assuming the "traditional family"; in a non-traditional family you would just be the father of her grandchild, nothing else, and probably she would refer to you just with a name..
