Answer:

<em>Bile salts</em>

Explanation:

<em>Bile salts are the most abundant components of the bile and play an important part in the maintenance and composition of the micellar structure of the bile.</em>

<em>They are polarized steroids that play an important part  in intestinal fat absorption. In the intestine, bile salts role are essential surfactants used tin  fats that are dietary in the gut. (hydrophilic milieu)</em>

John's grandparents make wine for special occasions. They add a pinch of yeast to crushed grapes. Over time, this action release
Cloud [144]

The chemical process that is happening is called fermentation.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Grapes contain a lot of carbohydrates, specially maltose. Maltose is a disaccharide, composed of two molecules of glucose. This maltose, when acted upon by yeast produces ethanol. The process going in is called fermentation. Here one molecule of glucose undergoes the process of glycolysis which leads to formation of two molecules of pyruvate.

These pyruvates are acted upon by alcohol dehydrogenase to form two molecules of ethanol and two molecules of carbon dioxide. Thus we can see bubbles coming out of the solution. Yeasts die as the alcohol concentration reaches around 13 to 14% v/v.

evablogger [386]

Answer:

A)The limb bones are similar across these species because they share a common ancestor.

Explanation:

The forelimb of humans, horses, goats, and mice are homologous organs. Homologous organs are those which are similar in origin but dissimilar in function. These organs are made of the same bones humerus, ulna, and radius. The above for limb in the given animals perform different functions as they live in different habitats. The homologous structures indicates divergent evolution.

All of the cells in this potato plant have the same DNA. Which of these would best describe why the cells differentiate into dif
jok3333 [9.3K]

The correct answer is that different genes are expressed in different cells.

The cellular differentiation is the process in developmental biology where a cell modifies from one kind of cell to another. Most generally the cells are modified to a more specialized kind. Differentiation takes place various times at the time of development of a multicellular species as it modifies from a basic zygote to a composite system of tissues and kinds of cells.

D) Cells are the basic unit of structure and function of all living things.

The answer is A

Explanation:

In 1830's, three scientists named; Mattias Schleiden, Theodor Schwann and Rudolph Virchow contributed to describing the basic properties of the cell, which they proposed in their so named CELL THEORY. This widely accepted cell theory has three components:

All living organisms are made up of one or more cells.

Cells are the basic and fundamental unit of life

All existing cells come from cells that have previously existed.

It was not proposed that all cells have a nucleus

Radda [10]
The 3 can only be produced in the Mediterranean biome. This biome is known to have dry and wet weather. However, the summer seasons in this biome is very dry and usually lasts longer. Hence, the vegetation is found to be drought resistant. The 3 plants mentioned are known to be naturally drought resistant, hence it is in this biome that it thrives and survives best.
