A number is multiplied by 4, and then 6 is added to the product. The result is 18. What is the number? I already know that the a

nswer is 3 but I have to check my answer. How do I check it?

You can check your answer by multiplying 3 with 4 <span>and then add 6  to the product. Then your result will be 18.</span>
