Rectangle has 4 sides

You have the 2 side lengths (l) and the 2 side widths (w)

"The length is 20 centimeters more than triple the width" in math terms is

l = 20 + 3w

The perimeter is 96 centimeters, which is all the sides added up

2l + 2w = 96

2(20 + 3w) + 2w = 96

40 + 6w + 2w = 96

40 + 8w = 96

8w = 56

w = 7

now plug in w = 7 to get length in

l = 20 + 3w

Graph this function using intercepts Solve 10x+9y=-90
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So first, lets solve for the intercepts.

Let’s start by finding the x intercept.

Plug in 0 for y.

10x+9(0)=-90

10x=-90

X=-9, so your first point on your line will be (-9,0).

Now the y intercept.

Plug in 0 for x.

10(0)+9y=-90

9y=-90

Y=-10, so your second point on your line will be (0,-10).

Use those points to create your line.

What is the volume of a sphere with a diameter of 5 in? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth of a cubic inch.
Anettt [7]

if the sphere has a diameter of 5, then its radius is half that, or 2.5.

\bf \textit{volume of a sphere}\\\\ V=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ r=2.5 \end{cases}\implies V=\cfrac{4\pi (2.5)^3}{3}\implies V=\cfrac{62.5\pi }{3} \\\\\\ V\approx 65.44984694978736\implies V=\stackrel{\textit{rounded up}}{65.45}

Answer:

D. Time; amount;  $2800

I hope this is right because I was looking for the answer to the same question and this is the solution I came up with.

Step-by-step explanation:

Time is the independent variable because it is the variable that is changed.

The Amount (dollars) is the dependent variable because it is effected by the independent variable.
