Answer:

V = 8 × 6 × 3

V = 48*3

Step-by-step explanation:

V = l*w*h

We know the length is 8, the width is 6 and the height is 3

V = 8*6*3

V = 48*3

V = 8 x 6 x 3
When you find volume, you need to multiply all the dimensions of each sides (length x width x height)

I tried multiplying it but I still can’t figure it out please please help
neonofarm [45]
The answer is 88 5/6 .   If you were stuck try turning the fractions into improper fractions and multiply both of them and later divide the numerator by the denominator to have a mixed number.  You can later simplify the fraction to get 88 5/6.  If you need help don't be afraid to tell me in the comments!   Hope this helps :)

(7.02) classify each sequence as arithmetic, geometric, or neither.
Digiron [165]

Answer:

geometric

arithmetic

arithmetic

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

4/9,4/3,4,12,36

Multiply each term by 3 to get the next term. There is a common ratio between terms, so it geometric.

2.

0,1,2,3,4,5,6

Add 1 to each term to get the next term. Since there is a common difference between terms, it is an arithmetic sequence.

3.

-10,-6,-2,2,6,10

Add 4 to each term to get the next term. Since there is a common difference between terms, it is an arithmetic sequence.

Well, 50 points total given, 25 points per user  and 13 bonus for brainliest

anyway

1.
add them equations, the y's will cancel
x+2y=4
<span>3x-2y=4 +</span>
4x+0y=8

4x=8
divide by 4 both sides
x=2
sub back
x+2y=4
2+2y=4
minus 2
2y=2
divide 2
y=1
x=2
y=1
(x,y)
(2,1) is solution

2.
the solution is where they intersect
multiply 2nd equation by 2 and add to first
4x-14y=6
<span>-4x+14y=-6 +</span>
0x+0y=0
0=0
infinite solutions

that is because they are actually the same line
the solutions are (x,y) such that they satisfy -2x+7y=-3 or 4x-14y=6 (same equaiton)
infinite solutions

3.
multiply first equation by 2 and add to first
4x+2y=-6
<span>1x-2y=-4 +</span>
5x+0y=-10

5x=-10
divide by 5 both sides
x=-2
sub bac
x-2y=-4
-2-2y=-4
add 2
-2y=-2
divide by -2
y=1

x=-2
y=1
(x,y)
(-2,1)

4.
coincident means they are the same line
so

we see that we have to multiply 4 by 2 to get 8
multiply top equation by 2
8x+10y=16
8x+By=C
B=10 and C=16

EC
total cost=150
TC=childC+adultC
TC=3c+5a
150=3c+5a

40 tickets, c+a
40=c+a

the equations are
150=3c+5a and
40=c+a

eliminate
multiply 2nd equaton by -3 and ad to first one

150=3c+5a
<span>-120=-3c-3a +</span>
30=0c+2a

30=2a
divide by 2
15=a

sub back
40=c+a
40=c+15
minus 15
25=c

25 children tickets and 15 adult tickets were sold

Answer:

<h2>The circumference is multipled by 4.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of an area of a circle"

A=\pi r^2

The formula of a circumference of a circle:

C=2\pi r

The area multipled by 16:

16A=16\pi r^2\\\\16A=\pi(4^2r^2)\\\\16A=\pi(4r)^2

The radius has increased fourfold, therefore:

C'=2\pi(4r)=4(2\pi r)=4C

The circumference is multipled by 4.

You can calculate the area and check the circumference:

r=11.6\ in\\\\A=\pi(11.6)^2=132.56\pi\\\\16A=(16)(134.56\pi)=2152.96\pi\ in^2

Calculate the radius:

\pi r^2=2152.96\pi             <em>divide both sides by π</em>

r^2=2152.96\to r=\sqrt{2152.96}\\\\r=46.4\ in

Calculate the circumference of both circles:

r=11.6\ in\\\\C=2\pi(11.6)=23.2\pi\ in

r=46.4\ in\\\\C'=2\pi(46.4)=92.8\pi\ in

\dfrac{C'}{C}=\dfrac{92.8\pi}{23.2\pi}=4\to C'=4C
