dsp73

Answer:

A. short-term memory can be encoded to form long-term memories.

Explanation:

Memory consolidation: In psychology, the term "memory consolidation" is described as a process through which an individual's brain generally convert all the memories present in the short-term into the person's long-term memories.

Short-term memories of an individual last for about thirty seconds that is why an individual needs to shift a few specific information to the long-term memories in order to be remembered.

It is often referred to as a "time-dependent process" through an individual's learned experiences are being converted into his or her long term memory via chemical and structural changes in the nervous system.

How do you think taking a sociology course might affect your social interactions?
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

Sociology broadens your own view of other peoples needs and contexts. It helps you understand theories on collective action, group interactions, etc.

Explanation:

As a student of sociology you need to learn to distinguis a moral judgement from an objective fact. By doing so you also learn to establish certain criteria when analyzing the collective action of a group of persons. Then you can understand that only actions that are social are of value to the study of sociology. To identify the scope of what is a theory in sociology and what are you personal and own bias is a key ability you need.

There fore taking a course on sociology makes you more aware of other people historical contexts, the reasons why the act the way the do, and to what extent some social interactions will probably take place or will not.

Think of sociology as the study of groups, and the interactions that take between and within them. When you experience everyday life you will be able to put your own happenings into the context of your class, your neighbourhood, nation, etc. Then you can have distinct levels for a single topic that always relates to you.
