‘In Just’ is a very pleasing poem which is set at the spring time, when everything around is just beautiful and growing.
The poet uses a line ‘when the world is’ at the beginning of every new stanza thus using Anaphora figure of speech where a same phrase is being repeated at the beginning of verses. The poem depicts how by seeing the balloonman the kids starts jumping in excitement.
The poet have also made use of Imagery. The words ‘mud luscious’, ‘puddle wonderful’ are used to describe the world. He puts forward how the world changes into something alluring during the spring. Every tiny detail in the poem depicts the park and its beauty during the spring time.
