Answer: The Battle for Lake Tanganyika was a series of naval engagements that took place between elements of the Royal Navy, Force Publique and the Kaiserliche Marine between December 1915 and July 1916, during the First World War. The intention was to secure control of the strategically important Lake Tanganyika, which had been dominated by German naval units since the beginning of the war. The British forces — consisting of two motor boats named HMS Mimi and Toutou — were under the command of the eccentric Lieutenant-Commander Geoffrey Spicer-Simson. The boats were transported to South Africa and from there by railway, by river, and by being dragged through the African jungle, to the lake.

Judaism is the most ancient monotheistic religion, and the historical backdrop of Judaism can't be isolated from the historical backdrop of the Jewish individuals. The second and prime agreement or covenant was made 450 years after the fact when Moses drove the Jews out of subjugation in Egypt back to the terrains of Canaan.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST !! PLEASE HELP
ollegr [7]

Explanation:

In it, he developed a computational system for a partially heliocentric planetary model, in which the planets orbit the Sun, which in turn orbits the Earth. In the Tantrasangraha (1500), he revised the mathematics of his planetary system further and incorporated the Earth's rotation on its axis. The heliocentric model was generally rejected by the ancient philosophers for three main reasons: If the Earth is rotating about its axis, and orbiting around the Sun, then the Earth must be in motion. However, we cannot ``feel'' this motion. The celestial sphere was assumed to lie just beyond the orbit of Saturn. Copernicus had two main reasons for asserting that the Sun was the center of our solar system. Copernicus didn't like the fact that the Ptolemaic model had big epicycles to explain the retrograde motions of the planets. He knew that this could be explained instead by having the Earth also moving around the Sun. From his observations, Copernicus concluded that every planet, including Earth, revolved around the Sun. He also determined that the Earth rotates daily on its axis and that the Earth's motion affected what people saw in the heavens. Copernicus did not have the tools to prove his theories.

N76 [4]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 was enacted to apprehend and prohibit certain classes of persons and entities to make bribes or illegal payments to foreign government officials to assist in obtaining or retaining businesses.

According to the accounting provisions of The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), it requires rigorous internal accounting controls and careful record keeping to ensure that bribes cannot be concealed via "slush funds" and other devices.

The anti-bribery provisions of the FCPA applies to all U.S. citizens and certain foreign entities. The anti-bribery provisions of the FCPA also applies to foreign firms and persons who may promote such illegal payments to take place within the territory of the United States.
