The overwhelming majority of court decisions that define American civil liberties are based on the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments added to the Constitution in 1791. ... Civil rights are also protected by the Fourteenth Amendment, which protects violation of rights and liberties by the state governments.

What role did steam technology play in the industrail revoluation
Ulleksa [173]

Steam power  originally developed slowly over a period of several hundred years until it reached to actual practical application at the beginning of the industrial  revolution. The steam engine was one of the most important technologies of the industrial revolution. It was a simple device that used boiling water to create mechanical motion to be utilized in useful work.

Early mills used water power to operate and had to be located near running water such as a river which would freeze in winter and the water was not available, also in dry spells. Flooding would also stop operations.  But by using a steam engine, a factory could be located anywhere and could operate the whole year round.

From mines to mills, steam engines found many applications in a variety of industries, improving productivity and technology such as Trevithick's high pressure engine that revolutionized transport. Steam engines found their way to boats, railways, farms and road vehicles.

olchik [2.2K]

Genocide Watch in the U.S. and the Green Belt Movement in Kenya are examples of <u>"Nongovernmental Organizations".</u>

The Green Belt Movement (GBM) was established by Professor Wangari Maathai in 1977 under the sponsorship of the National Council of Women of Kenya (NCWK) to react to the necessities of provincial Kenyan ladies who announced that their streams were becoming scarce, their nourishment supply was less secure, and they needed to walk further and further to get kindling for fuel and fencing.

Genocide Watch exists to anticipate, counteract, stop, and rebuff decimation and different types of mass murder. Our motivation is to fabricate a worldwide development to counteract and stop genocide.

In a population, not all workers have a high school diploma. Suppose the size of the labor force increases but a smaller percent
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

increase ; decrease

Explanation:

Human capital is the production factor of goods and the services that is produced but the human labor.

Human capital input is defined as the labor input of the production adjusted for quality which is related to the skills and health of the labor. The knowledge, qualifications and skills are all formed a part of the human capital that leads to the creation of goods and products.

In the context, the larger labor force who do not have a high school degree will increase the human capital input because worker are in large number and so they will produce more products or services.

While those workers with high school degree will decrease the human capital input because they are smaller in number hence less production output.

Therefore the answer is -- increase ; decrease
