History

Answer:

In social conditions

Explanation:

The Progressive Movement emerged in the 1890s and continued until the 1920s with the aim of dealing with all the political, socials and economic injustices that came with the U.S. Industrial Revolution. But they especially put emphasis on changing social conditions.

Progressive reformers worked hard to make social and political reforms that improved society: They exposed corruption in both government and big business, regulated private industry, protected workers and consumer's rights and wellness (by promoting the passing of Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, for example), protected people's right of press and protest and dealt with alcohol issues by supporting the 18th Amendment that banned the sale and drinking of alcohol, among many other activities that enhanced American society.
