Why does Chamberlain believe appeasement gives England greater strength against Germany?

History

As the League of Nations crumbled, politicians turned to a new way to keep the peace - appeasement. This was the policy of giving Hitler what he wanted to stop him from going to war. It was based on the idea that what Hitler wanted was reasonable and, when his reasonable demands had been satisfied, he would stop.

Although historians recognise appeasement in the actions of Britain and France before 1938, the Sudeten Crisis of 1938 is the key example of appeasement in action. Neville Chamberlain was the British prime minister who believed in appeasement.

ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Transatlantic slave trade radically impaired Africa's potential to develop economically and maintain its social and political stability. The arrival of Europeans on the West African Coast and their establishment of slave ports in various parts of the continent triggered a continuous process of exploitation of Africa's human resources, labor, and commodities. This exploitative commerce influenced the African political and religious aristocracies, the warrior classes and the biracial elite, who made small gains from the slave trade, to participate in the oppression of their own people. The Europeans, on the other hand, greatly benefited from the Atlantic trade, since it allowed them to amass the raw materials that fed the Industrial Revolution to the detriment of African societies whose capacity to transform their modes of production into a viable entrepreneurial economy was severely halted.

What innovation enabled the Maya to adapt to their tropical environment and build a great civilization?
allochka39001 [22]
The main factor was the utilization of raised field agriculture. They would build these fields that had been artificially raised to a certain height along a flowing water source (mostly rivers but occasionally streams as well in some cases). When tropical weather patterns would cause said water sources to flood, instead of washing away the crops, it would act as irrigation for the raised fields. Securing a steady food source allowed the Mayans to support a large civilization in the tropical regions they called home.
