How would you explain Sam’s determination to stay with Frodo no matter what? How would you explain the change in him as a result

of meeting and talking with Elves? As the story progresses, in what ways does Sam become essential to Frodo’s success and to a successful outcome to the quest? Is it right that Frodo and Sam are setting off alone on the last stage of the quest? How have Frodo and Sam grown since we first met them?
