Answer:

If that is supposed to say she sold 5 DOZEN eggs at the farmer's market then The farmer gave away 7 dozen eggs which would be 84 eggs. She earned $22.50

Step-by-step explanation:

12 dozen - 5 dozen = 7 dozen

7 dozen x 12 = 84 eggs

5 dozen x 4.50 = $22.50

To decrease an amount by 18%, what single multiplier would you use?
suter [353]
I believe you would calculate this like so;

We want 18% less than 100% of that amount therefore the single multiplier we would use is as follows:

(100% - 18%) = 82%

Which alternatively = 0.82

Does that make sense? If not I can explain it a bit more. Please let me know.

Alex777 [14]

Answer:

The actual perimeter of the field is 352 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

the perimeter of a field is 0.352 meters

the actual perimeter of the field is 1,000 times as large

let the perimeter of the field = p

the the actual perimeter of the field = T

Given;

P = 0.352 m

T = 1000 x p

T = 1000 x 0.352

T = 352 m

Therefore, the actual perimeter of the field is 352 meters
